With over 17 years of professional food experience Betsey Hedrick brings a specialized and unique flare to catering and food in eastern Montana.
Betsey graduated from Western Culinary Institute (Le Cordon Bleu College of Portland OR) http://www.lecordonbleu-portland.com/Home in 1994. Hedrick returned to Bozeman, MT and for over 12 years continued her education and training from outstanding chefs at Riverside Country Club, Bozeman’s prestigious and exclusive golf course & private dining club.
Betsey gained valuable experience by designing, opening and running The Branding Iron Steakhouse, in Bozeman, Montana. Chef Betsey Hedrick developed menus and recipes, managed staff and the day to day operations of this 120 seat restaurant/bar.
In the spring of '05 Hedrick moved from the west to the east landing in the badlands, where she managed the dining room at the Heritage, Glendive Medical Center's assisted living facility, for 3 years.
In July of 2012 Betsey's Badlands Catering was born. Betsey is establishing a promising, unique and professional business to serve all eastern Montana western North Dakota.
Betsey and her husband of 14 years have a delightful 5 year old son. Betsey enjoys gardening and incorporating the fresh, organic and locally sourced food in menu development.
